Prerequisites: You must be an ADP WFN Administrator with permissions to create a new Standard Practitioner user.
Step 1: Add a Standard Practitioner User
Log in to ADP Workforce Now.
Navigate to Setup → Tools → Support.
Click Client Contact Change.
Click Add New Contact.
Select No to indicate the contact is not a registered employee or independent contractor. Enter the following information:
First Name: Fleet
Last Name: Admin
Work Phone: 917-717-3974
Scroll down to Access Settings and select No, let me choose the options manually. Configure the following:
Click Submit.
The user will be added as an authorized contact and will receive a welcome email with credentials.
Step 2: Assign Required Permissions
The previous steps should automatically grant Standard Practitioner access. To verify and customize permissions:
Verify Role Assignment
Navigate to Setup → Security → Access Permissions → Manage People.
Search for the contact you created and select their profile.
Click Manage Profile Memberships.
Confirm the user is assigned the Standard Practitioner role.
Click Save.
Enable Deductions Access
Go to the People Access tab and grant View and Edit access to all People.
Go to the Payroll Processing Access tab and grant View Only access.
Step 3: Connect ADP WFN to Fleet
Log in to the Fleet app at app.movewithfleet.com/login.
Select Connect HRIS:
First-time users: This option appears in the onboarding flow.
Existing users: Navigate to My Commuters → Add Commuters → HRIS.
In the modal that appears, search for ADP Workforce Now.
Follow the prompts and enter your username and password.
Click Connect.
